Dr. Folbe received her B.S. in Psychology from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1988. She concentrated her studies on biological psychology.
Dr. Folbe received her D.D.S. degree in 1993 from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor continuing her True Blue love. She graduated with honors and received the Comprehensive Care award from her senior clinic.
Dr. Folbe practices all phases of General Dentistry with a special interest in Orthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry. She graduated from the United States Dental Institute with extensive training in continuing education in Orthodontics. Dr. Folbe also offers ClearCorrect orthodontic treatment. She is active in continuing education in Esthetic Dentistry to offer state of the art functional and cosmetic care to her patients. Dr. Folbe performs all phases of Esthetic Dentistry including bonding, all porcelain crowns and Lumineers.
Dr. Folbe is married with four children whom she truly adores. She enjoys cooking, reading and downhill skiing.
Dr. Savannah Mortensen is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2004, Dr. Mortensen moved to Granville, Ohio to study Biology and swim on the varsity team at Denison University. She earned her B.S. in Biology in 2008, graduating with honors. Dr. Mortensen studied dentistry at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Denver, Colorado and graduated with her D.D.S. degree in 2014.
Dr. Mortensen moved to Detroit, MI in 2014 to pursue a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry though the University of Detroit Mercy with a partnership with St. John Providence Riverview Hospital. She completed the 12-month AEGD program and was offered the opportunity to continue on with a second year of residency as the chief. During her two years of AEGD residency, Dr. Mortensen developed a passion for providing comprehensive dental care to her patients with particular interest in restoring dental implants, esthetic dentistry, oral surgery, and replacing missing teeth with partial and complete dentures.
Dr. Mortensen has fallen in love with the city of Detroit since moving in 2014 and enjoys attending many Tigers, Red Wings, and Lions games. She also enjoys going to music concerts, swimming, and visiting her family in New Mexico.
Dr. Esmeralda Paluka was born and raised in Albania. At age 18 she moved to Italy to pursue her studies. She received her first DDS degree from the University of Perugia Italy 2010. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude and was the youngest doctor to graduate in her class.
Later in the same year, Dr. Paluka moved to Michigan to join the love of her life. Meanwhile she was preparing to take the board exams she volunteered for two and a half years at St. Vincent De Paul outreach dental clinic helping the underserved population of Detroit providing dental care. She continued her studies at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School where she earned her second degree in May 2016.
Dr. Paluka is a strong believer in education to prevent oral health problems before they occur. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and practices all phases of general dentistry with a special interest in esthetic dentistry, implants, oral surgery and full mouth reconstruction cases. Being part of a family of dental lab technicians, Dr. Paluka has very good knowledge in prosthodontics and dental materials. She stays up to date with continuing education courses to provide the best care for her patients. She is fluent in Albanian, Italian and English.
Dr. Paluka is married and has a daughter. In her spare time she enjoys staying with her family, cooking and traveling.
