Dr. Folbe received her B.S. in Psychology from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1988. She concentrated her studies on biological psychology.
Dr. Folbe received her D.D.S. degree in 1993 from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor continuing her True Blue love. She graduated with honors and received the Comprehensive Care award from her senior clinic.
Dr. Folbe practices all phases of General Dentistry with a special interest in Orthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry. She graduated from the United States Dental Institute with extensive training in continuing education in Orthodontics. Dr. Folbe also offers ClearCorrect orthodontic treatment. She is active in continuing education in Esthetic Dentistry to offer state of the art functional and cosmetic care to her patients. Dr. Folbe performs all phases of Esthetic Dentistry including bonding, all porcelain crowns and Lumineers.
Dr. Folbe is married with four children whom she truly adores. She enjoys cooking, reading and downhill skiing.
Dr. Savannah Banas is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2004, Dr. Banas moved to Granville, Ohio to study Biology and swim on the varsity team at Denison University. She earned her B.S. in Biology in 2008, graduating with honors. Dr. Banas studied dentistry at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Denver, Colorado and graduated with her D.D.S. degree in 2014.
Dr. Banas moved to Detroit, MI in 2014 to pursue a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry though the University of Detroit Mercy with a partnership with St. John Providence Riverview Hospital. She completed the 12-month AEGD program and was offered the opportunity to continue on with a second year of residency as the chief. During her two years of AEGD residency, Dr. Banas developed a passion for providing comprehensive dental care to her patients with particular interest in restoring dental implants, esthetic dentistry, oral surgery, and replacing missing teeth with partial and complete dentures.
Dr. Banas has fallen in love with the city of Detroit since moving in 2014 and enjoys attending many Tigers, Red Wings, and Lions games. She also enjoys going to music concerts, swimming, and visiting her family in New Mexico.
Dr. Stephanie Nguyen is originally from Livonia, MI. She received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She then moved to Bradenton, FL to study dentistry as part of the inaugural class at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), School of Dental Medicine, earning her D.M.D degree in 2016. While at LECOM, Dr. Nguyen was a duel-enrolled student and also earned a Masters degree in Health Service Administration in 2016.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Nguyen moved to Chicago, IL to advance her dental skills. She completed a General Practice Residency through the University of Chicago at NorthShore University HealthSystem-Evanston Hospital in 2017 with a focus on medically compromised patients and emergency dentistry. Through the residency program, she was able to enhance her comprehensive dental skills, especially in endodontics, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Nguyen has returned to Michigan and is excited to be back in her home state. She enjoys rooting for the Michigan Wolverine football team along with the Red Wings, Pistons, and Tigers. In her spare time, she is passionate about volunteering, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring different cities.
